Hello, I am Miss Littrel and I am a 4th grade teacher at Cooley Elementary. I attended Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and received a degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for 15 years; 13 years in EPISD and 2 years in Iowa. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade during those years.
My vision is to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where children will recognize and achieve their fullest potential.
My classroom is a place where everybody is welcomed and you are not alone. Where we work together to learn, and we respect and care for everyone and everything around us.
Fourth grade is a challenging year for both students and their parents. You will see tremendous changes in the maturity of your child. They must become very independent and self-sufficient in their school work. Fourth grade has STAAR testing and the curriculum moves very fast. I ask that each of you please be involved in your child's education on a daily basis. Together we will witness their many successes in fourth grade.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns by clicking on the email link, or by calling the school office at (915) 236-8600. My prep time is 9:00 - 9:45.
